SCHOLARSHIPS

Awarding scholarships to high-school and college students is part of a program of Marina Kaštela whose aim is to encourage young people in the community to get higher education.

Most scholarship holders are children and young people who are or used to be members of Sports clubs of Marina Kaštela, with excellent school grades and high ambitions. After they finish college, scholarship holders return the scholarship to the sports clubs.

 

JOŠKO ROKOV is the first scholarship holder of Marina Kaštela. He received a scholarship throughout his time as a student of University for Electrical Engineering in Zagreb,  where he majored in industrial electrical engineering, graduate with a GPA of 4.92 (out of 5.00). He is currently designer of digital systems (FPGA developer) and is returning his scholarship to the Marina Kaštela Rowing Club.

 

 

 

VIŠNJA JURIĆ is born in 1991 and is an excellent last year student of the First Language School in Split. As an excellent volleyball player, she was on the extended roster of the Croatian national team. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MARINA PAVLOV is born in 1990 and is an excellent student in her last year at the Public Health High School in Split.

 

 

 

 

 

 



ANA BARBARA BATINIĆ, is born in 1990 and started playing volleyball 9 years ago. She is an excellent last year student of the Professional High School "Blaž Jurjev Trogiranin", hotel-touristic profile. Every year in high school she has received recognition as the most successful and  student in her class.

 

 

 

 



JURE VRDOLJAK is born in 1990. He is an excellent last-year student of the Electortechnical high school in Split. Upon graduation, he plans to enter the University for Electrical engineering and ship building. He has been rowing for 7 years and has received more than 40 Medals.

 

 

 

 

 

 

ANA ČEHIL is born in 1988 and is studying piano at the Music Academy in Zagreb. A couple of times she won first place in Piano Forte in Croatia.

MARIJA BURAZER is born in 1987 and is a student at the Pharmaceutical-Biochemical University in Zagreb.

IVAN KONSA is born in 1988 and is an excellent student of the Faculty for Maritime studies in Split.

SIMONA ŠIMAT is born in 1983 and is a student at the Dentist Faculty in Zagreb.
